Is there a cure for Aarskog syndrome?
There is no cure for Aarskog syndrome. Treatment is limited to surgy for symptoms like cleft lip and/or palate or heart problems, management/surveillance of medical concerns like eye or bone problems, appropriate dental treatment, and supportive education services if needed.

Growth hormone levels are usually reported as normal in people with Aarskog syndrome, and therefore treatment with growth hormone is ineffective. Catch up growth is usually seen in puberty though, with adult height around the 10th percentile on the growth curve.
